"It is not enough to just show up."
Sometimes, I can come across as a softy when I talk about the mental approach to motivation in fitness and health. I've even said, don't worry about all the process of exercise, just show up in the gym and your half-way there.
Well, the results you get from just being there are zero. If you think you've made a huge mental leap up the ladder toward your fitness and health goals, it does help, but it won't get you real results.
You need to not only make it to the gym, but you need to properly plan your workouts and nutrition, then execute with a high degree of energy.
It's not enough to just show up, so take control, use your available resources and GO GET 'EM !
